U.S. Sealcoat & U.S. Paving. In 2007, we have committed to establishing
the most comprehensive safety program - including a completely re-designed
safety policy book; 10-hour OSHA certifications for all supervisors
and foremen; and on-going OSHA Toolbox Talks for all employees at
all locations. Furthermore, we have also committed to high-visibility
apparel and protective equipment for all employees. Beyond these
efforts already established, we have created a Safety Committee
including company executives, on-site personnel, and industry leaders
to discuss inherent risks in the work we perform and the policies
and procedures necessary to reduce and eliminate this risk. We will
continue to train and teach safety, consistently improving processes
to make our work and our work sites safer.
